Reservoir lining
Lined containment structures in onshore oil and gas facilities rely on the soil mass for structural stability and on geomembranes for impermeability. In most cases, early performance appears satisfactory. Over time, sustained hydraulic head, rapid loading events, or repeated fill–drain cycles begin to influence how the soil–liner system behaves.

Ground improvement for reinforced soil wall using StrataWeb® Geocells for Arjungunj, U.P.
The client was seeking a solution for the ground improvement for the construction of a Reinforced Soil Wall for ROB 208 Arjungunj, U.P., India. The approach was designed for a maximum height of 10 m.
Ground improvement of the industrial floor using StrataWeb® geocells
Due to the site’s location, the conventional method of soil replacement was not a feasible technique, as it would have been a tedious task to replace the soil up to 2–3 meters from the OGL.
Ground improvement using StrataWeb® geocells and StrataGrid® Biaxial (SGB) geogrids
This project involved ground improvement below the reinforced soil wall structure at National Highway 28, Gorakhpur, UP. This highway provides the main connectivity from India to Nepal, also connecting main cities in Uttar Pradesh. The site is in a high-flood zone and has a very high water table during monsoon months. Therefore, the conventional method of soil replacement was not feasible. Also, solutions like stone columns, sand piling were time-consuming and very expensive.
