How is our StrataDrain™ manufactured?
StrataDrain™ is manufactured in the state-of-the-art manufacturing plant located in India.
The manufacturing process involves 3 phases:
Tailored to job or customer requirements, our Extrusion Process begins with HDPE granules and additives, ensuring consistent raw materials. Granules are dried to remove moisture and precisely mixed for quality. This material is then processed into PP/PE plastic nets in various sizes and patterns, like biplanar and triplanar Geonets. When Geotextile lamination isn’t needed, the Geonets move directly to the packing process.
This process involves precise lamination of Geonets and Geotextiles using thermal heating. The output, called Drainage Geocomposite or StrataDrain™ (SD), comes in different sizes and lengths, up to 5m in width and 200m in length. Slitting operations are available for variable sizes based on customer requirements.
Finished products are packed in round or roll form and wrapped in HDPE sheets. For export, palletizing with stretch wrap and wooden pallets is offered. Our eco-friendly manufacturing ensures no chemical spillage or effluent discharge throughout the process.

Quality Assurance of StrataDrain™
How long does StrataDrain™ last?
Design engineers often face a challenge because not all drainage materials are the same. The sustained performance of drainage geocomposites is contingent upon a multitude of factors, encompassing the chemical composition of raw materials, manufacturing methodologies, design intricacies and the ultimate application.
Considering the pivotal role of drainage geocomposites in critical designs, a comprehensive understanding of these factors is imperative. StrataDrain™, as a case in point, undergoes rigorous testing at esteemed international laboratories to meticulously ascertain and define these pivotal variables, ensuring its suitability and reliability in diverse applications.
Since, geogrids are used for critical designs, it is essential to have a clear understanding of the above factors. StrataGrid™ undergoes exhaustive testing at internationally reputed laboratories to define all of the above factors.
