The National Highway connecting Meerut to Muzaffarnagar needed a site solution that would be aesthetically pleasing, technically sound, and create seamless travel at all the Meerut – National Highway intersections. Strata was involved in the construction of geogrid reinforced soil wall approaches on the Meerut-Muzaffarnagar stretch.

The biggest hurdle lay in designing the walls involved, as it was identified that the side walls were making an acute corner with the abutment and sufficient space was not available to place the StrataGrid™.

Strata’s competent Design team carried out the structure design with inputs from design consultants, LEA Associates South Asia Pvt. Ltd. The facing comprised of panel fascia-a T-shaped panel wall that is a highly stable system and ideal for tall reinforced soil walls.

Strata helped the project meet its deadline and helped maximize the development’s profitability to the owner/client by allowing it to open on schedule.
